“It worked in China” – Internet-Blocking SOPA Legislation

Tomorrow, a bill that would create America’s first Internet censorship system is going to a full committee for a vote, and is likely to pass. This week, millions will protest censorship, censoring our own posts and asking you to call Congress.

Here’s some background.

  1. Roger, my reps all know how I feel, as I’ve made numerous calls.

The most effective method of transmitting info to Washington, DC congressional reps (most of whom are “ickin’ fridiots”) is to call the LOCAL office, the one in your town or district. Senators and members of the House pay more attention to these calls than to the mass robo-calls or calls that sound like the same rote message.

This whole thing makes me SICK. But then, don’t get me started.

HEY! Who stole my soapbox?! Peace and best of luck on this, Amy
